Reverse description A bold floral cross occupying the central field, with lily-shaped terminals (fleur-de-lis) at each extremity and a lily motif filling each quarter of the cross, all contained within a double beaded border. The cross design is characteristic of ecclesiastical influence on Scandinavian medieval coinage. A Latin legend in uncial script is inscribed between the inner and outer beaded rings, invoking the Holy Cross.
