Obverse description Central eight-pointed star with pronounced raised points radiating from a small central boss, occupying the majority of the field. Small pellets or dots are placed between the alternating points of the star. The entire design is enclosed within a plain, raised solid ring border. The flan is irregular and characteristic of medieval hammered coinage, with no legend or inscription present.

Reverse description Incuse mirror image of the obverse design, as is typical of bracteate coinage struck on a single thin flan: an eight-pointed star with radiating points visible in relief on this side as a consequence of the single-die hammering technique. The field is plain with no legend or inscription, and the irregular flan edges are consistent with hand-cut medieval planchets.
