Obverse description Five pellets arranged in a quincunx pattern within a raised inner circle, itself enclosed by a second concentric circle, all set against a flat field. The minimalist design is characteristic of Norwegian medieval bracteate coinage, struck on a thin, irregularly shaped silver flan with a slightly scalloped rim resulting from the hammering process. No legend or inscription is present.
