| Obverse description | Central field displays the Devanagari royal epithet 'Shri Shri' in the upper register, with the name 'Prithvi' inscribed in the middle register flanked by decorative dot ornaments and a central elongated raised device. The Vikrama Samvat date 1968 (= 1911 AD) appears in Nepali numerals along the lower arc. The entire design is enclosed within a continuous beaded border, characteristic of Nepalese milled gold coinage of the late Shah dynasty period. |
