Obverse description Central field divided into registers bearing the royal name and Nepalese Sambat date inscribed in Devanagari/Newari script. The legend reads 'Shri Shri Shri Pratap Singh Shah' arranged across multiple horizontal lines, with the regnal year 1698 NS (1776 AD) prominently displayed in Newari numerals in the lower register. The hammered flan is small and irregularly shaped, characteristic of Nepalese quarter mohar coinage of the period. The inscriptions are rendered in bold relief against a flat field, with no figural or decorative elements.
