| Beschrijving keerzijde | Central field displays a plain Greek cross with equal arms, enclosed within an inner beaded circle. A six-pointed star appears in the upper-left quadrant of the cross, and a small eagle or bird device occupies the lower-right quadrant, consistent with Genoese civic iconography of the period. The surrounding outer legend, separated by a dotted inner border, carries the traditional Genoese invocation of Conrad, King of the Romans, a formulaic legend retained on Genoese coinage for centuries as a mark of imperial legitimacy. The lettering is in Gothic-influenced Latin majuscules typical of late medieval Italian hammered silver. |
