| Obverse description | Central field displays the crowned arms of Baden-Durlach, consisting of a shield charged with the diagonal bar of Baden, surmounted by a princely crown. Flanking the shield on either side are decorative foliate branches, rendered in a baroque style typical of German minor coinage of the mid-eighteenth century. No peripheral legend is present on this face. |
