| Obverse description | Central device features the crowned Cyrillic monogram of Tsar Alexander II — a stylized interlaced 'A II' beneath the Imperial Russian crown — flanked symmetrically by two sprigs, an olive branch to the left and a palm branch to the right, their stems crossing at the base. The monogram is rendered in bold relief against a plain field, imparting a strong heraldic character typical of Russian Imperial copper coinage of the reform era. No peripheral legend appears on the obverse; the design is entirely devoted to the royal cipher and decorative botanical elements. |
