| Popis rubu | A short, plain Greek cross occupies the center of the reverse field, its arms of equal length extending nearly to the inner beaded circle that encloses the design. The cross is rendered in simple raised relief against an otherwise plain field, characteristic of the rudimentary engraving style of minor hammered billon issues from the Lower Rhine region. The surrounding legend runs between the beaded inner circle and the irregular outer rim, employing uncial Gothic letterforms. The overall strike is typical of small-module feudal coinage of the early fifteenth century. |
