| Reverse description | A large triple-banded cross pattee divides the reverse field into four quarters, its arms extending to the inner circle and adorned with transverse bar banding and floral terminals. The circular Latin legend is distributed across the four quadrants separated by the arms of the cross. An inner pearled circle frames the cross, with a further plain circle separating the legend from the irregular hammered edge. The composition follows the standard Low Countries groat typology of the period. |
