Reverse description Central design features a short voided cross with fleur-de-lis terminals at each arm, contained within a beaded inner circle. The four fleurs-de-lis fill the angles formed by the cross arms, creating a quatrefoil-like appearance. The surrounding peripheral legend in uncial Latin is separated by pellet stops and runs continuously around the coin. The hammered flan is irregular in shape, typical of late medieval billon small denomination coinage from the Low Countries.
