| Beschrijving voorzijde | Central field displays a crowned Gothic architectural motif, likely a stylized castle or tower, set upon a long cross that divides the inner field into four quarters. The design is contained within a beaded inner circle, with the circumferential legend in uncial Latin characters reading IOhA COMS DnS MEG', identifying Count John as Lord of Megen.
