| Obverse description | Central field bears a large Arabic legend in three lines giving the sultan's name and titles, with the Hijri date 1310 inscribed in Western-Arabic (European) numerals beneath. The design is enclosed within a plain inner circle and surrounded by an ornamental border of repeating scroll or foliate motifs running along the coin's rim, characteristic of late 19th-century Moroccan milled coinage. |
