| Obverse description | Armored bust of Augustus II (the Strong), Elector of Saxony and King of Poland, facing right, with long flowing wig in the Baroque manner, wearing a cuirass with ornamental pauldron and decorative clasp at the shoulder. The effigy is boldly rendered in high relief against a smooth field. A circular Latin legend runs around the periphery, separated from the rim by a continuous border of beads. |
