| Obverse description | Central field occupied by the quartered oval coat of arms of Archbishop Max Gandolf von Kuenburg, surmounted by a processional cross beneath a pontifical galero with pendant tasseled cords (six tassels per side) flanking the shield. The upper quarters display the rampant lion of Salzburg and a striped field, while the lower quarters bear a crescent moon and a floral device representing the Kuenburg family arms. The shield is set within an ornate baroque cartouche. The surrounding legend in Latin reads along the inner border of a beaded rim. |

| Reverse description | Enthroned facing figure of Saint Rupert, patron saint of Salzburg, vested in full episcopal robes with mitre, holding a crozier in his right hand and an orb in his left. At the base of the figure, a quartered circle bearing the fraction denomination 1/4 is prominently displayed in the lower central field. The date appears within the encircling Latin legend, which runs along the beaded rim. The overall composition is rendered in a bold baroque style characteristic of Salzburg coinage of the period. |
