| Beschrijving voorzijde | Draped bust of Empress Maria Theresa facing right, her hair elaborately styled in loose curls with a ribbon or diadem, rendered in a baroque portrait style. The effigy is set within a fine rope-edged border that frames the entire obverse field. The abbreviated Latin legend encircles the bust, reading M · THER · D · G · R · I · GE · H · B · R ·, identifying the empress as Maria Theresia, by the grace of God Empress of the Romans, Queen of Germany, Hungary, and Bohemia. The portrait is finely executed for the small module of the coin, displaying careful detail in the drapery and facial features. |

| Beschrijving keerzijde | The Virgin Mary, nimbed and seated on a globe surrounded by radiating rays of glory, is depicted holding the Christ Child in her arms — a representation of the Patrona Hungariae (Patron of Hungary). Below the central device, the arms of Hungary appear as a small heraldic shield. The mint mark N·B (for Nagybánya, present-day Baia Mare, Romania) is placed to either side of the central figure. The circular Latin legend PATR · REGNI · HUNG · with the date (1752 or 1755) runs around the periphery within a rope-edged border, identifying the Virgin as Protector of the Kingdom of Hungary. |
