Obverse description Central field occupied by a large ornate interlaced cipher composed of the initials 'LR' (for Louis Rudolph), elaborately rendered in Baroque calligraphic style with foliate scrollwork and flourishes. The monogram fills virtually the entire coin face and is executed with fine engraving detail. The coin is bordered by a milled or beaded inner rim that frames the design neatly against the plain field.

Reverse description Standing male figure, depicted nude or semi-nude in the classical manner, facing slightly left and holding a long palm branch or staff in one hand and a laurel or olive branch in the other. The figure stands on a ground line and is flanked on either side by palm or laurel branches, conveying themes of victory and peace in the Baroque allegorical tradition. The design is contained within a beaded inner border consistent with the obverse.
