| Obverse description | Central field displays the elaborate ecclesiastical coat of arms of Archbishop Leopold Anton von Firmian, comprising a quartered shield bearing the arms of the Archbishopric of Salzburg and the Firmian family, surmounted by an archiepiscopal cross and topped by a galero with pendant tassels. The shield is adorned with the insignia of high ecclesiastical rank, rendered in fine relief characteristic of early 18th-century Austrian minting. The circular Latin legend reads LEOPOLDUS D G ARCHIEP SAL, running along the coin's periphery. |
