Reverse description The arms of the Archbishopric of Salzburg displayed on an oval, mantled shield occupying the central field, quartered with the Salzburg episcopal charges including a lion and a fess. The shield is surmounted by a processional cross and enclosed within a full cardinal's hat from which hang dependent tassels on either side in the customary ecclesiastical heraldic arrangement. The date appears in the lower exergue below the mantled achievement. The milled border surrounds the entire reverse composition.
