| Beschrijving voorzijde | Royal cypher of George II consisting of an elaborate interlaced script GR monogram surmounted by a royal crown with cross finial, all rendered in high relief against a plain field. A small mint mark 'S' appears at the base of the monogram below the cypher. The intertwined letters are executed in a decorative Baroque calligraphic style characteristic of early 18th-century German coinage. |
