Obverse description Laureate and draped youthful effigy of Emperor Charles VI facing right, with the fractional denomination '1/4' inscribed below the shoulder. The encircling Latin legend commences at approximately 8 o'clock and reads CAR VI D G R I S A G H H B R, denoting his full imperial and royal titles. The portrait is rendered in the refined baroque style characteristic of early eighteenth-century Habsburg coinage. Fine inner border frames the design.
