| Beschrijving keerzijde | The Virgin Mary (Patrona Hungariae) depicted enthroned on clouds in half-length, the Christ Child seated on her left arm with a hand raised in blessing, both figures surrounded by a radiant glory or aureole of flames. Below, the Hungarian arms (a shield divided with the Árpád stripes and the apostolic double cross) surmounted by a crown serves as a base to the composition. The date, with the last two digits split to either side of the shield, appears in the lower field. A circular Latin legend identifying the subject runs along the periphery. |
