| Obverse description | Bare-headed bust of Prince Charles August Frederick facing right, with flowing curled hair rendered in fine relief. The effigy is set within a beaded border, with the abbreviated Latin legend CAROL D G PR WALD arranged around the periphery. The portrait displays the characteristic Baroque style of mid-18th century German princely coinage, with naturalistic facial features and draped shoulders partially visible at the truncation. |
