| Description du revers | A crowned Imperial double-headed eagle displayed in the centre of the field, with wings spread and each head facing outward, surmounted by a single imperial crown. A crowned quartered shield bearing the arms of the Holy Roman Empire is affixed to the eagle's breast. The divided Latin legend IOSEPH.II. and D.G.R.I.S.A. is arranged to either side and around the eagle. The design is executed in the baroque style typical of late eighteenth-century German coinage, with fine detail in the feathering and heraldic elements. |
