| Obverse description | Panoramic city view of Regensburg (RATISBONA) with the Danube bridge and the city's characteristic towers and spires prominently depicted across the central field. Above the skyline, a radiant all-seeing eye of Providence emits diverging rays across the upper field. The curved Latin legend PROSPICIENTE DEO arcs above along the upper periphery, with RATISBONAE inscribed in the lower exergual area. The coin's milled border frames the finely engraved townscape in a baroque artistic style. |

| Reverse description | A crowned Imperial double-headed eagle displayed in the centre of the field, with wings spread and each head facing outward, surmounted by a single imperial crown. A crowned quartered shield bearing the arms of the Holy Roman Empire is affixed to the eagle's breast. The divided Latin legend IOSEPH.II. and D.G.R.I.S.A. is arranged to either side and around the eagle. The design is executed in the baroque style typical of late eighteenth-century German coinage, with fine detail in the feathering and heraldic elements. |
