| Описание аверса |
Bare-headed effigy of the young King Otto (Othon) facing right, rendered in neoclassical style with finely engraved curling hair. The truncation bears the engraver's initials K.Φ. (for Carl Friedrich Voigt). The circular Greek legend reads ΟΘΩΝ ΒΑΣΙΛΕΥΣ ΤΗΣ ΕΛΛΑΔΟΣ (Othon King of Greece), distributed around the periphery of the field. The portrait is restrained and elegant, consistent with the Bavarian academic tradition of the period. |

| Описание реверса |
Central shield bearing the Greek cross, quartered with horizontal lines and a diaper pattern, surmounted by a royal crown with arched finial. The shield is flanked by two symmetrical olive branches curving from the base upward. Below the shield, the denomination 1/4 ΔΡΑΧΜΗ appears on one line, with the date on the line beneath, all within the lower field. The overall design is characteristic of the heraldic coinage produced for the Bavarian-installed Greek monarchy. |
