Reverse description Central shield bearing the Greek cross, quartered with horizontal lines and a diaper pattern, surmounted by a royal crown with arched finial. The shield is flanked by two symmetrical olive branches curving from the base upward. Below the shield, the denomination 1/4 ΔΡΑΧΜΗ appears on one line, with the date on the line beneath, all within the lower field. The overall design is characteristic of the heraldic coinage produced for the Bavarian-installed Greek monarchy.
