Obverse description The Fijian coat of arms occupies the central field, depicting a quartered shield supported by two indigenous Fijian female figures in traditional dress, one holding a spear and the other a plant stem. Above the shield, a British sailing vessel appears on a crest, while a scroll beneath bears the national motto in Fijian: REREVAKA NA KALOU KA DOKAI NA TUI, meaning 'Fear God and honour the King'. The legend FIJI 2026 arcs across the upper field, with the denomination QUARTER DOLLAR inscribed along the lower rim. The fineness inscription 1/4 OZ .999 FINE SILVER appears to either side of the arms, and the entire design is framed by a decorative Greek key border interspersed with a seigaiha (overlapping wave) pattern.
