| 背面描述 | The reverse depicts a scenic view of Mount Chocorua, the easternmost peak of the Sandwich Range within the White Mountain National Forest of New Hampshire, as seen framed by birch trees in the foreground — an iconic New England landscape composition. The design, engraved by Phebe Hemphill, conveys a sense of natural grandeur through the interplay of the rocky summit, forest foliage, and open sky. The legend WHITE MOUNTAIN arcs across the upper field, with the state name NEW HAMPSHIRE below it, and the year 2013 appears in the lower field. The mint mark PH, designating Hemphill's initials, is incorporated discreetly into the design. The motto E PLURIBUS UNUM is inscribed along the lower periphery. |
