| Beschrijving keerzijde | The central device depicts three historic sailing vessels — the Susan Constant, Godspeed, and Discovery — under sail on open water, representing the 1607 English expedition that established the Jamestown settlement in Virginia. The legend VIRGINIA and the date 1788 (the year Virginia ratified the Constitution) arc along the upper periphery, with JAMESTOWN 1607-2007 inscribed below in the upper field.
