| 背面描述 | A detailed landscape view of Alley Mill, a three-story stone roller mill constructed in 1894, set within the Ozark National Scenic Riverways in Missouri. The historic mill building is depicted at center, flanked by mature trees whose branches frame the upper field, with a rushing mill stream flowing prominently in the foreground. The legend OZARK RIVERWAYS arcs along the upper border, with MISSOURI inscribed on the left periphery and E PLURIBUS UNUM on the right. The date 2017 appears in the lower exergue, and the engraver's initials RS are visible near the lower left of the central design. |

The Ozark National Scenic Riverways was the first national park unit in the United States established specifically to protect a free-flowing river system — the Current and Jacks Fork rivers in southern Missouri — signed into law by Lyndon Johnson in 1964. It entered the America the Beautiful Quarters program in 2017, the eighth year of a series originally projected to run through 2021 but later extended. Silver proof versions were struck exclusively at San Francisco and sold directly to collectors; none entered general circulation.
