Beschrijving keerzijde The reverse depicts the Scissor-tailed Flycatcher, Oklahoma's state bird, shown in dynamic flight with its distinctive elongate tail feathers gracefully spread. Below the bird, the state wildflower, the Indian Blanket (Gaillardia), is rendered in bloom against a field of similar wildflowers extending across the lower portion of the design. The state name 'OKLAHOMA' appears as the primary legend along the upper periphery, with the state's year of admission '1907' and the coin year '2008' flanking the central device. The motto 'E PLURIBUS UNUM' is inscribed along the lower border, and the engraver's initials 'PH' appear in the field.
