Part of the America the Beautiful bullion series, these five-ounce strikes reproduce the America the Beautiful quarter designs at a scale of three inches — precisely five times the diameter of the circulating quarter. The Denali design was the fourth release of 2012, honoring the park's designation as a national preserve in 1980, though Denali itself remained officially "Mount McKinley" on federal maps until 2015, when the Obama administration formally restored the Athabascan name over Congressional objection from Ohio delegations protective of President McKinley's commemoration.
