Beschrijving voorzijde Full-length figure of Liberty facing right, rendered in high relief after Hermon A. MacNeil's original Standing Liberty Quarter design, draped in flowing robes and striding forward between two low parapets; her left arm extends outward bearing an olive branch, while her right arm supports a large shield adorned with a horizontal striped motif. The legend LIBERTY arcs along the upper periphery, flanked by a beaded border, while IN GOD and WE TRUST appear incuse on the left and right parapets respectively, separated by a central star. Thirteen stars are arranged in a semicircle along the lower field, the date 1916 appears in the exergue, and a Liberty Bell privy mark with the inscription 250 is visible on the lower right parapet, commemorating the American Semiquincentennial; the W mint mark for West Point appears near the lower right.

Beschrijving keerzijde A bald eagle in dynamic flight is depicted in high relief at center, wings fully spread and body angled downward to the right, conveying powerful motion. The legend UNITED·STATES OF AMERICA curves along the upper periphery, with thirteen five-pointed stars arranged on either side flanking the upper field. The motto E·PLVRIBVS VNVM appears in two lines in the upper central field, rendered in a Roman lapidary style consistent with the original MacNeil design. The denomination QUARTER·DOLLAR is inscribed along the lower periphery, completing the legend.
