Obverse description Irregular square flan struck by hammer, bearing two lines of Kufic-influenced Arabic script arranged within a plain rectangular border. The upper register reads the first hemistich of the Quranic-derived religious formula, with bold, slightly raised lettering characteristic of Nasrid coinage. The field is flat and unadorned, with no figural imagery, consistent with Islamic aniconic tradition. The flan edges are slightly uneven, typical of hand-cut silver planchets of the Emirate of Granada period.
