A multicolour geometric rosette guilloche pattern occupies the lower left. The issuer name "Central Bank of Iraq" appears in a scrollwork banner at the top, with "Quarter Dinar" in a similar banner at the foot; the Arabic gate inscription appears below the vignette, and fractional denomination counters 1/4 are placed at each corner.
