Obverse description Green and lilac note with the bank name in Arabic script at top centre within a decorative guilloche panel. The denomination 'ربع دينار' is inscribed in an ornate arabesque cartouche at centre, flanked by Arabic text with the legal tender clause and governor's signature below. To the right, a large green star-burst vignette encloses the Iraqi coat of arms (1959–1963 type), featuring a wheat sheaf within a circular medallion. The serial number and series prefix appear twice, at upper right and lower left, within the fine geometric border.

Reverse description Printed in monochrome green, the reverse is dominated at centre by a finely engraved landscape vignette of tall date palms rising above a grove, with the inscription 'Central Bank of Iraq' arched above in Latin script. To the left, a large circular guilloche medallion bears the fractional denomination '1/4 Dinar' in bold lettering. To the right, a matching circular guilloche rosette provides an ornamental counterpart. The words 'Quarter' and 'Dinar' are inscribed in the lower corners, and decorative rosette corner pieces frame the entire composition within a fine geometric border.
