Reverse description The fractional denomination 1/4 is prominently displayed in large numerals at the center of the field, with the fraction bar clearly delineated between the numeral 1 above and 4 below. The mint name BOGOTA arcs in bold capital letters along the upper portion of the legend. Two small caduceus symbols — each depicting a winged staff entwined by serpents — flank the central fraction at left and right, serving as mint or assayer marks. A fine beaded border runs along the inner edge of the coin.
