Reverse description The fractional denomination '1/4' is prominently displayed in large numerals at the centre of the field, with the numeral 1 above a horizontal bar and the numeral 4 below, indicating one quarter. The mint name BOGOTA is inscribed in spaced capital letters arranged in a semicircular legend along the upper periphery. Nine six-pointed stars are arranged in a curved row along the lower portion of the field, referencing the nine sovereign states of the Granadine Confederation.
