Obverse description Diademed and draped bust of Queen Victoria facing left, wearing a small crown and veil, with a pendant earring visible. The effigy closely follows the Crowned Bust type used on contemporaneous British Indian coinage. The circular legend reads VICTORIA EMPRESS, with the inscription divided on either side of the portrait. A beaded border surrounds the entire design.
