Reverse description An Arabic countermark stamp is applied centrally to the reverse of the host British India quarter anna (KM#486), largely obscuring the original denomination inscription. The countermark consists of an Arabic legend enclosed within a circular border. The underlying reverse design and inscription of the host coin are substantially hidden beneath the applied stamp.
