| Reverse description | The Arabic numeral '٣٢' (32), denoting the denomination of 32 fulus per tenga, is displayed prominently in the central field within a six-petalled ornate cartouche. The petals of the floral frame radiate symmetrically around the numeral, creating a decorative rosette-like border typical of Bukharan copper coinage of this era. The overall design is hand-engraved and shows the characteristic irregularity of hammered production, with the cartouche sometimes incompletely struck on weakly produced specimens. A known variety exists with the erroneous inscription '23' in place of '32', attributable to a die-cutter's error. |
