Obverse description Central field occupied by a cruciform arrangement of Devanagari characters divided into four quadrants by a raised cross, a typical layout for small hammered silver coinage of the Malla dynasty. The inscription reads श्री भास्करा, invoking the royal name of the issuing ruler, Bhaskara Malla. The legends are rendered in relief, exhibiting the bold, compact script characteristic of Nepalese hammered coinage of the early eighteenth century. The flan is small, irregular, and slightly convex, with a plain periphery showing natural irregularities from the hammering process.

Reverse description The reverse mirrors the cruciform compositional scheme of the obverse, with Devanagari legend मल्ल देव arranged in four quadrants separated by a raised cross dividing the field. The inscription completes the royal titulature, identifying the issuer as Bhaskara Malla Deva, king of Kathmandu. The relief characters are boldly struck, though slightly uneven due to the hand-hammered technique employed at the Kathmandu mint. The flan edges are irregular and uneven, consistent with the small fractional silver coinage of the Malla period.
