Reverse description The shield of the arms of Jersey — displaying three leopards passant guardant in pale on a vertically lined field — is depicted centrally within an ornate scrollwork cartouche. A circular legend surrounds the central device, divided by two small ornamental stops, reading along the upper arc and continuing around the lower portion of the coin. A beaded inner border frames the legend, and the whole is contained within a plain raised rim.
