| Beschrijving voorzijde | Central field dominated by a large crowned royal cypher consisting of an interlaced 'FR' monogram (Fridericus Rex) in relief, surmounted by a elaborate Prussian royal crown. The date 1786 is split to either side of the monogram, with '17' to the left and '86' to the right. The coin is bordered by a fine milled edge. The design is executed in a bold, uncluttered neoclassical engraving style characteristic of the Berlin Mint under Frederick II. |
