Obverse description Central field occupied by the crowned quartered arms of Saxony-Poland, displaying the distinctive barry of ten and the Polish eagle, surmounted by an Electoral crown. The shield is flanked on either side by elaborate foliate and palm branches forming a decorative mantling. The mintmaster's initials appear below the arms, and a Latin legend surrounds the entire design within a beaded border.
