背面描述 The central field contains a five-line inscription denoting the denomination and standard, reading '24 / EINEN / REICHS / THALER' with the mint year below, all enclosed within a raised inner circle. The mintmaster's initials 'G.H.E.' appear beneath the date in the lower portion of the inner circle. The circumferential legend around the border references the Leipzig monetary standard. The design is entirely typographic, with no pictorial elements, consistent with the utilitarian reverse treatment of contemporary German 1⁄24 Thaler coinage.

附加信息

Francis Josias ruled Saxe-Coburg-Saalfeld from 1699 until his death in 1764, spending much of his reign in imperial military service — he commanded Austrian forces during the War of Austrian Succession and was appointed commander-in-chief of the Holy Roman Empire's armies. The small fractional thalers issued under his name were largely a domestic fiscal necessity, the duchy's revenues perpetually strained by the costs of maintaining a court while its duke was abroad on campaign.

The 1746 start date for this type coincides closely with the conclusion of the War of Austrian Succession at Aix-la-Chapelle.
