Aanvullende informatie

Sweden held Swedish Pomerania as a hard-won remnant of its former Baltic empire, and by the Seven Years' War the territory was under direct military pressure from Prussia and Russia. These small billon pieces were struck at Stettin during the years when Frederick the Great's forces were actively contesting the province — the mint changed hands more than once during this period, and the abbreviated three-year run reflects exactly how unstable the occupation had become by 1761.
