Reverse description A small imperial orb bearing the denomination numeral 24 is positioned at the top of the field, flanked by the split date 16 and 50. Below, a six-line devotional inscription in German occupies the remainder of the field, with the mint name Gotha and the mint officials' initials inscribed at the foot. The layout is typical of contemporary Groschen-series coinage from the Ernestine duchies, combining the standard imperial orb denomination marker with a pious vernacular legend.
