Obverse description Quartered shield of arms surmounted by an electoral crown, the shield divided by a central escutcheon bearing the Saxon arms (barry of ten or and sable with a crancelin). The four quarters display, clockwise from upper left: the Polish eagle, the Lithuanian Pogon (mounted knight), a lion passant, and a rampant lion. The entire composition is framed by two ornate palm or laurel branches sweeping symmetrically around the shield, all set within a beaded border.

Reverse description Plain field bearing the denomination expressed in three lines of bold Roman lettering: '24 / EINEN / THALER', flanked in the uppermost line by two rosette ornaments. Below, the date '1753' and the Leipzig mint mark 'L' appear on separate lines. The entire design is contained within a beaded border, with no additional legend.
